The Christmas knitting was finished and on the head of the recipient on Christmas Day. My mother admired my hat from the pattern Gretel, and so I knitted one for her for Christmas. She seemed to truly enjoy it. I was relieved to see that it fit. Unfortunately I did not get a decent photo of it.

Today I had Christmas dinner at home with my kids (Saturday). My son baked bread (his form of relaxation) and made a lovely salad. We had turkey and all the fixings. Simple and very satisfying. Turkey leftovers, turkey sandwiches, and turkey soup are on the menu for the coming week.
