ooooh, beautiful! I've not seen that pattern before.
I'm surprised that you aren't a lace knitter already. Hard to believe it's your first lace projest. Does this mean you are going to convert to all lace all the time like most everyone else is doing? Funny how the crowd goes in waves and it looks like the lace knitting is the next big wave. The shawl is simply beautiful and I'm sure you can't wait for a cool fall evening to wear it.

I must admit I've given up on a lace stole, but I'm re knitting it in a Feather and Fan pattern, but it does look good.
Well done on the shawl, it really is lovely.
Very lovely shawl. I have some many WIPs right now, I can't even think of making a lace shawl.
