Excel is my friend
I could not enlarge the cable chart to make it easier to read, so I made a much larger chart that I could read at a glance. I do not have a knitter's computer program, so I did the next best thing and color coded the stitches using Excel.

Hey, I can actually help with this one! If you join the Yahoo! group knitting software - http://groups.yahoo.com/group/knittingsoftware/ - there's an Excel macro in the files section that makes color charting easy. There's also a website that makes a chart out of a photo http://www.microrevolt.org/knitPro/.
The woman that started the group reveiwed several charting programs and said Excel is an excellent tool. I use it almost exclusively for color charts. With the macro it's even easier.
