The picture of my daughter's sock monkey hat did not make the Knitty Calendar 2007 BUT it was one of the honorable mentions. Hee hee. How exciting.

I love the woven stitch you're using in the red jacket. And tweeds! I've kept my eye out for for a warm red tweed that I can afford but haven't had much success, yet.

Re: your comment on my blog: What sock book do you have? Next one on my list is "Fair Isling on Blue Moon". The idea of spending $50 on a pair of socks is more than a little appalling. I still twitch at $22 for a skein of Cherry Tree Hill.
